Linda, Just looking at the information that you have/been given, I think that Louisa is staying with her grandparents for the 1841 census. The registration district etc is the same and the household numbers are only about 100 apart - could be up one side of the street and down the other.

This looks like the birth registration:- Phobe Proud (that's the way it's spelt in index) Sept. qtr. 1840, Walsall, XVII, 237 Kath. x

with civil registration being a new thing it may be the births were not registerd. Roy

I've printed the 51 imagine, definately says John as head and James as son.

I thought 1841 didn't give relationships. She could just have been staying there. Liz
