Hi, Can anyone help in trying to find any ancesters of.
Alexander Brodie b. 30 Jan 1828 Glasgow, Lanarkshire, Scotland died apparently Edinburgh, Midlothian, Scotland.
Married Margaret Brown Cornfoot on the 12 Jun 1857 Tradeston, Glasgow, Lanarkshire, Scotland she was born 18 Nov 1823 Earlsferry, Fife, Scotland died 27 Apr 1862 same place.
They had a son John Cornfoot Brodie b.26 Aug 1859 Hutchesontown, Glasgow, Scotland died 12 Oct 1930 Wanganui, New Zealand.

SP has no record of Margaret's birth with the details you give, though Cornfoot does seem to be a Fife name - several Margaret Cornfoots were born in various places in Fife.

This is the only one with middle name Brown.
Kilconqhuar is only a couple of miles from Earlsferry, and she may not have been baptised at birth. The date below is probably date of baptism, not of birth:

As i said Alexander Brodie 1828 and Margaret Brown Cornfoot had a son called John Cornfoot Brodie 1859 Hutchesontown, Glasgow, Scotland died 12 Oct 1930 Wanganui, New Zealand.

As the person who posted the Perthshire baptism record, based on the date given by Craig -
I agree with ErikaH that it's NOT the correct birth.

The 1830 Glasgow birth is the correct one.
