Find Ancestors

Trying to find birth of Emily Harriet monks who possibly married someone named speak before marrying james Heaton in Burnley in 1915.
Can find no sign of her. There may be Yorkshire connections. James Heaton was born 1885. :-)

She later went on to marry John Henry nutter in 1928 in Burnley if this helps.

The speak g gentleman may have been henry. If I could maybe find her in 1911 census that might give me a clue. In Burnley hopefully. Or Yorkshire. :-S

Henry speak would have been approx 1881born. :-S

This has her married 5 years but then it's been crossed through

Henry was a Driver 6th Battery R.F.A. (guess Royal Field Artillery).

Both were resident in St Thomas' Mount, the marriage was in the Wesleyan church there.

Oh well done. So maybe married in India to Henry speak ? He died in Burnley in 1914....no wonder I couldn't find her birth or first marriage if they were in India. :-D

Benjamin was a guard on the railways, resident of Salem. Amelia lived Pallaveram, either she was illegitimate or her mother possibly widowed hence Harriett listed as father.

Perhaps Amelia's mother was a widow?

Henry had inadvertently put the 5 years married, 2 children born and living next to his own name when it should have been recorded against Emily's.

He was a machine oiler working for a cotton manufacturer.
