For some reason the onwers of GR, FindMyPast, seem to be neglecting the maintenance of the G-R site.Very often now the tree view refuses to display, giving spurious messages about the site being down for maintenance (when it isn't - the tree usually displays after a few retries). More seriously, there have been repeated problems in exporting gedcom files. For those of us who have used Genesreunited to maintain our latest version this is crucial. Suggestion: it is long overdue for FMP to integrate Genesreunited with FindMyPast, where the tree management works much better and (most important) more reliably! |
