	Vacuum packed meat The whole ground floor of the house looks like a war zone. Made up cabinets in the hall and lounge, together with the packaging material. We had to rip up some floor covering in the kitchen so our "we may replace it" has now become "we definitely have to replace it" :-\| As for the painting, the new plasterboard has now had two coats of Sealer/Primer applied and the ceiling is furnished with two coats of white. We can't paint the walls as there are tiles in some areas. These tiles cant be removed so the walls in those areas will have to be cut out and replaced! This is the start of a Public Holiday weekend (the Holiday is on Monday) so on Tuesday, mayhem will reign. A skip will arrive at 0700, closely followed by the guy doing the Kitchen to take out the old units, the plumber to cut off the gas and water to remove the old cooktop and sink, and the guy to repair the walls. Oh yes, I almost forgot, someone is also arriving to, hopefully, solve the problem of our leaking gutter!! Now tell me I can't weave a story out of that material! :-D :-D As I said previously.. Mighty oaks out of little acorns grow. All this because the appliances were over 20 years old and the oven timer would not work correctly. P.S. I also have to demolish a Gazebo over the week-end so that it can go in the skip with the rest of the rubbish :-(
