I did have all these people and pictures of them on my tree, until GR redesigned the tree a year or two ago and a lot of it disappeared.
Got a lot of the pictures from The Peerage or a similar site, and I was worried at the time that that was why!
My Great Aunt Frances Lyne married Gentleman Guy Samuelson, Grandson of Sir Bernard Samuelson, Iron Man of Banbury. (a very good self made man) Bernard's son Herbert married into the Harbord Family, who's ancestry goes back all the way to Kings.

There's Highborn Irish connections to Sutton Family too !

EDITED...
BTW - Good Morning Allan :-D :-D

Hash Browns

Again, on my father's side, my great grandmother was supposed to have come from a wealthy family in Dublin; she actually came from Cork and married my great grandfather Charles, who was a journeyman bricklayer, but who knows about further back?

I find it ironic that the original family history of the Coe's came from a niece of my grandmother yet the niece didn't know the name of her grandmother even though granny was still alive when the h niece was young :-0

I always think it's best to do your own research, using other people's ideas, but being careful and open minded. Some people just go by other people's info from trees etc, without checking first!

Like my link to Jemima Nicholas (my 5x Great Aunt). Most Nicholas Families claim to be descended from her, but actually, there is absolutely no evidence or records that she ever married or had children. I am descended from her brother Isaac and can prove it with documentation.

GR doesn't have Irish records sadly :-( :-( :-(

Do you have access to Irish records on FMP (Is that the subscription you have?)

Allan Report 28 Aug 2014 23:11

Jem, I have a world-wide subscription on FMP, but have never really delved too far into the Irish side. I do access a few Irish sites. The difficulty with my gt grandmother is that her maiden name was COE, and she married Charles COE. I have found two possible births in Cork, but that's it.

My mother's mother did come from Dublin and fortunately her records were not destroyed in the Uprising, so I have her mother and father.

I've just been fixated on bl**dy Clifford :-|

If I remember right- it's Clifford that married, is it Adelaide Coe?

So where did he meet her? I think you should follow up anything. Follow up Irish links and who knows what you may find!

Did you know that both father and son Richard Sutton married Burton women from the same house in Ireland?

EDITED- FIRST COUSINS FROM BURTON HALL!
Richard (b 1821; 4th Baronet) married his mother's brother's daughter (his 2nd wife)

Yes, Clifford married Adelaide. In 1901 Adelaide was a housemaid to a dairy farmer near Salford. Adelaide's father, Charles, was born in Manchester but went to live with an Uncle in Northwich after his mother died at a very early age. The Northwich Coes haven't moved round much and I am on firm ground back to about 1750
