Hi, Jem :-)

GP, when I worked on the Grimsby fish docks, if you asked for a parcel of fish you would only get haddock. The fish merchants reckoned that cod was only fit for cats :-S

Don't get me wrong, cod is nice. it's just that the fish merchants felt it was 'inferior' :-(

I think Cod is the most sold fish in the Northeast followed by Haddock - this will vary throughout the country. Other varieties of fish can be very expensive.
