When you travel on the Indian Pacific Train, they use another time zone called train time :-S I kid you not :-D :-D

It's used so that when you move gradually East (and I presume West) you are already operating in the appropriate time zone. It starts shortly after you leave Perth by putting your watches etc half an hour forwards

I'm used to flying where you adjust your watch either once you are on the plane, or immediately you land, but then most plane travel only takes a few hours; the full train journey is three nights and four days :-D
