It's very easy to lose touch. Years can slip by so easily, which has happened with us. None of us are good visitors, but we are going to try to remedy that- Life's too short!

Vegetable Burgers

We've never been really close due to that three year gap. Also although we went to the same Primary school I passed my 11+ but my brother didn't, so we were at different Secondary schools. He left at 15 and got a job but I couldn't leave until I was 16 by which time he'd been working for 4 years and had his own circle of friends. Then he came out to Oz in the mid to late sixties

We have big age differences and family issues. My big brother is 6 years older than me. We grew up together with my divorced father. My half-sister is 7 years younger and my half-brother (the one who visited yesterday) is 10 years younger than me. They grew up with my mother and their father.

My big brother thought I was a nuisance then!!! :-D but I became close to the younger ones when I started visiting them when they were little- the big sis who used to spoil them! :-D :-D

Broad beans

And that's me done for the moment. Yesterday was nice and cool with a gentle rain all day. Looks to be the same today, so we can now repair some of the heat damage caused to some plants :-)

Sleep well :-)
