I don't know about the wetlands but the inlet is only five minutes away :-D

Binningup is about twenty minutes north (driving, not walking)

The Town of Esperance may not be the best at the moment because of all the works, the coastline is stunning! I have never seen water of the colours seen today at Cape la Grand. A cruise ship arrived this morning (Radiance of the Seas) and we bumped into some American tourists from the ship who had hired a car and travelled to the same place. They also said that they had never seen such vivid colours.

Admission to the National park is $12.00. but as pensioners it only cost us $6.00.

It was the best $6.00 I have ever spent. The most crowded beach (Lucky bay) would have had about 100 people on it. The rest of the Bays were virtually deserted
