As I said on another thread, Jemima, yesterday was our first fine day for some time. Now we are back to the wind and rain. I hope that it clears up next week as we are having some windows replaced :-|

Emmental cheese

OH is fine. The dog can be a bit boisterous but the cat is ok. My daughter did have another cat, a magnificent grey tabby: he either went walkabout or somebody took him, as there has been no trace of him. He was micro chipped but no one has reported him as found. That was a few weeks ago.

Fruit Salad

Sad about the cat. You get very attached. Hope that he will be found. My last cat had been missing about 5 days, but eventually managed to get home injured. He had been knocked down and had a ruptured diaphragm. He made a full recovery though.

Strange thing though: a couple of weeks ago there was an add in the classified area of our local paper. Some people in the same street as my daughter were seeking help after their cat also went missing :-0
