I was working full time when my Dad was in a Nursing home and still visited him 3 times a week. I just don't know how they could be so uncaring. It's a sore point with me and my sister but nohing we can do about it.

Found where I used to live in UK the house has been knocked down now and Units built there. Found my house I live in on Google Earth too. I wasn't in the back garden waving though Ha HA

It held no happy memories for me, my mother left when I was7 and came back pregnant with my half sister,Dad took her back and life was hell from then on.What annoys me is Mum never worked but because Dad died first she got the house and gave it to my half sister who really was no relation to my poor old hard working Dad.
On a cheerier note do you all know you can find photos of old family addresses almost anywhere on Google Maps.I found grt grt Grandfather's place in Liverpool.

Edit .. I assumed your brother was single , Jack didn't realize he had children. I visited my dad every day he was in hosp, and my mother and then 4 times a week when she was in the nursing home. How uncaring of them :((

I am so sorry to hear that. It's so unfair when someone does that and then dissapears. I can in,magien how upset you must have been.
Was it your childhood home Daff? Always brings back such happy memories.
That's what worries me about my brother as he didn't make a will and it will all go to those that really don't give a damn. Only two of his children have been to visit him and then on rare occasions. Not that me and my sister want anything but we would rather it go to Charity than the ones who don't care get it all. Bet they wiil be there quick smart when he does pass away. Grrrrrr makes my blood boil
