the w isn't ..was ,were, went when, where...but is 4 letters.
the clue was crunch as in crisp. (singular)
lol don't know if what British call crisps are what Australian call crisps cos they call them chips in US

But I don't like to be reminded of it, if I was Shirley I'd be Curly Shirley !
When curls were in fashion I must have saved thousands of £s over the last 30 yrs --- not having perms ,I can't have it dead straight tho it doesn't suit me.
I used to iron my hair to straighten it when it was longer and I was younger.lol
Dau has quite wavy hair and she normally wears hers dead straight but it does suit her and her age group.
Still haven't got the 'w' ....doh
