You don't give any idea of what methods you have been using to try to make contact, so we can't really offer any constructive advice regarding other options

As Beswick is his adoptive surname -

On the Electoral Rolls on Ancestry, there was an Alfred Beswick , born approx 1955, living in Leek up to at least 2018, at an address containing the word Wallbridge. (Full address on Ancestry but I'm not posting it on this public site.)
I assume that's him.

On the ER here on GR (in the dropdown list under "Search" at top right of this page) , there's an Alfred Beswick in Leek from at least 2002 right up until the present. Can't see the address without using 10 credits - but that's probably him, as it's not a common name.

From that it would appear that he may still be at the same address where you last contacted him - so if he's not replying to your letters (have you been writing letters, or using other means of communication?), I don't know what to suggest.

If you've been phoning or emailing him - perhaps he's changed his number or email address?

ADDED:
The 2025 Electoral Roll would have been compiled in 2024, so it's possible that he has left that address since then.

Researching:
Old genealogists never die.....they just lose their census.

I am trying to find out about my brother Alfred Lockett (Beswick) , he lived in Leek in the Staffordshire Moorlands .

We were brought up in foster care from an early age and although we made contact about eight years ago we lost touch and i have been trying to get back in touch to see how he is keeping without any success.

Any advice on how to go about finding his where about would be much appreciated,
