Sharon, it is very unlikely that anyone with knowledge of your half brother would spot your post.

As you know his birth name you can register with the government adoption register - then if he is looking for his birth family he would be passed your details.

You could also check the trees on here just in case he has put his details in a tree.

Dear all

Good evening

Found out my mum had a baby boy 1967 newcross hospital wolverhampton left him there had me same year different dad in different county I sent for birth certificate as I was stunned but yes I was told by my mums sister her words not mine he wasa mixed race baby my mum has died 2016 in Bridgnorth she was called Joyce maloney nee mountford if this name rings a bell then we have a connection thankyou so much and good luck everyone
