Find Living Relatives

Hi all. I need help please to locate my missing relative with regards to our half brother's estate. Her name is Linda Harrison, nee Hawkins born in 1967 and married to John Harrison in 1992. Her half brother Hugh Dransfield (same father, different mother) has died and I am his half sister, (same mother different father) need to contact her urgently. SORRY it is so complicated. Look at the Electoral Roll - if she hasn't opted out of the public version, you may find a record for her.

Look in 'search all member trees'

As Erika said - look at the Electoral Rolls. Sometimes it is easier to look for the children ( if there are any) as they are more likely to be on social media.

According to freebmd the marriage was in Devon. Middle initials can be important when trying to trace people with common surnames.
So it is Linda J and John R.

Added: if you know what the middle name is it might be eveorth googling the whole name. Sometimes one is just lucky.

Sorry, but the names/relationships don’t make sense. Perhaps you’ve got them mixed up?

Linda would appear to have taken ? Her mothers name and Edwina her stepfathers name.

I pm'd Edwina asking if she was prepared to give out a bit more to help track down Lnda. She has replied but just asked if I knew here.

I have found Linda's marrieage ,but not her birth, have found Edwina's birth but not her marriage and can't find Hugh at all. :-S

I’ve had another pm. Edwina has the little info I’ve found and she just wants to connect with anyone that has Linda in their tree.

So help finding a Linda seems not to be wanted :-S :-S :-S

Nor can I, and if Hugh is supposed to share a father with Linda, his birth name can’t be Dransfield

And, if my ‘workings’ are accurate, Linda is not related to Edwina

Can’t see anything myself, but then if everyone else is alive they probably shouldn’t be.

I got the impression that she expects Linda or someone close to Linda will see the post and contact her. Have told her that that’s unlikely.

Some people just like to sit back and wait for it to just drop in their laps, As you say, it can’t be urgent.
