Yesterday Ann, you worried that we were all too cheerful! ;-0)

well, I have been fighting a deep well of depression for the last two weeks.

This morning I decided to give into it.
the advice given to a friend of mine by a
*trick cyclist*.....

So then I thought .... come on for a minute, ask for some positive thoughts... then go back and sit and wallow!!

It will probably help and I should be back by tomorrow... ?

It would be such a help if I had something to blame for it!

Stay well all of you and I will see you when I feel like coming back on.

Hi Carole - first of all never travel without a Tena Lady in place!!!! Don't fret about people having to know your problems - you didn't ask for them. If they're nice people they will understand, if not, sod em!!

Hi Ann, would be great if we all sounded as cheery as you do.
I'm going to doctors this afternoon. He asked me to go back end of Jan so I'm late! Let him know whats happening re pychologist, and how work is after being off four months. Not going too well at moment after the row last week. I feel very stressed. It's a nice job, just mornings that I struggle with, leaving the loo at home. I'll have to get a porta loo on the back of my car!! I had been traveling with a friend who is very good, but she is on holiday so I'm in cars with others I'm not so comfortable with. Now we have two new staff so they will also get to know about my problems. Not something that would normally be discussed with new friends. How many times I've been to the loo that morning! Oh well can't change it over night. Keep trying .xxxxxxxxxxx

Glad to see you back Caroline, been concerned.
Thanks for enquiring Carol, I am absolutely frozen at this moment, my fingers have just thawed out from my trip home from work, it's about 30 below right now and extremely icy on my road. When I got home, the driveway was also frozen solid and of course I stepped onto it. Landed safely, which is a relief, as today is my first full shift back since my knee surgery the week before Christmas. Last thing I need is a new injury!! I must have landed fairly gracefully (hard as that may be to believe) as I didn't drop the eggs I'd bought on the way home!!
Feeling a bit sad as my fav patient who is 102 years old, is finally slipping away, believe it or not she has been at the home where I work as long as I have - 20 years next month. One does become extremely attached to these patients esp the ones who are there a long time. It's been a privilege to know her, and now a privilege to share her peaceful end.
My uncle is 105 years old and sadly I know I'll never see him again as he is now in new Zealand. Sad that money, or lack thereof, keeps some families from the closeness they would prefer.
Oh boy, I am so cold, I am heading for bed with a hot water bottle.
Night all,
hugs

Hi Liz, had to get up because I couldn't sleep, back hurts and legs are going into spasms, thought I would be better up. I scan my old photos four at a time, then I separate them in paint shop pro.

I think we are all feeling like we know each other a bit now. It's nice to come here and see who is about that we know .
Lovely to read things like Elaine going into town. Next time Elaine, try taking rescue remedy with you to use before you go home. It will take away the fear of going home and feeling funny again. If it don't work first time keep using it it will help after a while. Also had you had nothing to eat?

Caz ~~~~hi x
