Well my mate finds out tomorrow what sex her baby is ......... so I'm dead excited about that!

Little one is so cool about it and not in the least bit concerned which is nice to see. She hopped into bed without a murmur tonight because I said early night as it's a long day tomorrow. lol. xx

Maddie I offered her the use of her mobile both for making calls if she wanted and taking pics on.

She doesn't want to take it........but one of the parent helpers is going to take some pics and make copies for us xx


******* edited to say she doesn't ever use the mobile as a phone - as a rule I'd say she was too young. It's purely used as a camera lol xx

I have to say little one has NO IDEA how I feel - I've been geeing her up about it and whooping about how exciting it is with her. I come from a family of worriers lol but I won't let it hold her back.

I have packed her the most mammoth of packed lunches - so she's all set and ready to roll.

Robin......... I'm always up for a bit of light hearted fun even on my more serious threads. I wouldn't have had a prob with you lightening it up one bit.xx

Muffy, I am sure your daughter will be fine on the trip, and you know that deep down, so please do as everyone suggests and see the doc about your other problems and also tell him/her about your anxiety over the trip.
My own Mum worried over everything and I knew never to ask to go on a school trip for more than a day as apart from the problem of my parent's finding the money, Mum would have made herself ill worrying about me. When I moved away to work in a holiday camp one crazy summer, 1968, I was 20 but when I got home I was told never to do that again as my Mum had been beside herself all the time I was away. i am sure it has contributed to my own problems now, the guilt I was always made to feel for upsetting my Mum, when all I was doing was trying to live my life! I don't know how much your daughter realises you are worried, you may hide your fears, but please don't lay this on your daughter as my Mum did me.
Fate has our lives worked out for us so no amount of worrying will change things, try singing Que Sera, sera, to yourself when you find yourself stressing.

Please take a bucket full I'll be thinking you on Tuesday I have a stressful day then too - I've convinced OH to see a dentist for the first time in 30 years - he is a worried about it as you are school trip - I'll tell him same I'll tell you.

Its ok to be worried and its ok to be scared and i'll love you however you choose to handle it. But I will also be so proud on Tuesday evening when you have both faced what for you (no matter what anyone else says) is a really big deal and upsetting and scary.

But when your daughter is home and we are back from the dentist - we will all be releived it worked out so well and wonder what the worry was about xxx

Wondered where you were. Don't worry too much about the trip I am sure it will be fine. Easy to say I know but I am sure it will.
Maybe you'd worry less if you kept chatting on here.
