Hattie I think your blog is very informative- you must be very good at looking after them, we had sea-monkeys once but our cat daisy drank them!
Thank you for sharing them with us,
Laura xxxx

Thank you Hattie I enjoyed your blog very much.
I was always interested in nature when I was your age and I had all sorts of creatures and wildlife.

I had never heard of Triops before now, well you're never too old to learn something new!!
Hope 'the family' are getting bigger and bigger!

This is Errol now - you can buy them from loads of places. One place (if you really get into it because they have loads of stuff) is:
http://www.cornishcrispa.com/

Hattie got her's from The Natural World if you have a branch nearby - they are a fabulous thing from an educational point of view. It was her decision to buy them and in fairness she has not lost interest. On the contrary she has been so excited when I pick her up from school to see how they have got on - they double in size every day.

auntie Norah thay are not scary they are just like fish they don't bite. You only have to clean them out once a week and you don't have to touch them if you don't want to. You just catch them in a little glass until you have cleaned the tank out.

This is Hattie again
I have just fed them. I have given them sweetcorn and they love it so much they are fighting over it. I wouldnt fight over sweetcorn. And the biggest one is chasing the littlest one away from the sweetcorn so the big one gets all the sweetcorn.

Wow P., I was really impressed .......... and she's only 10 years old!
Well done, Hattie. I must confess I didn't read every day's entries, but 4 of them, including the first and last. Very good! No, change that - brilliant. :-))
