update......

thank you all for your thoughts and hugs...

mum is still in hospital ... she having injections in to her tummy..

they said its called gal-sludge... which is grit and

gravel .... that forms gal-stones...so hopefully all well be ok ...

they are keeping her in for a few days... because of

her blood pressure....

mum sends her love to you all and thanks you all for

your kind thoughts...

Hi Lynn, sounds as tho it could be a kidney stone, the pain is so awful and you would stand on your head if your thought it would help, but nothing does once that beggar starts hurting inside your kidney. Had one once the size of a grain of rice but the pain...
hope your Mum is better soon, and even if they can't find the stone, it might move elsewhere and be fine, I was sent home from hospital with mine still there and a bedpan to check if it passed. Instructed to drink lots and lots of water and cut down on coffee as that sometimes causes them. As if I was going to carry that with me away from the house. Went back months later for check up and they couldn't see it any more but as I hadn't heard it ping in the toilet pan (Doc's words not mine) had to have a camera inserted to be sure. Nothing was found and touch wood, several years later I am still ok but do make sure I only drink one or two coffees each day and drink lots of other liquids.
