I am down in Wales sometimes, will let you welsh ladies know if I am ever down your way, Cardiff or Pembroke, or Llanelli.

You make it sound fun.

Thanks for all your replies.

I have been to 3......you get to meet people who you dont normally talk that much with ....like Sandra and Jimmy dont post much now but always go to meets....and Red devil Keith and his wife...no much talk about FT but there is sometimes......you...well I tend to bulid up a picture of people by how they post....and TW is a lot taller than she writes....also Pink I always thought was posh and really minded my p's and q's when I first spoke to her ...she said who are you I said Hayley she said I thought you had dark hair and everyone said no thats TW...lol

I have met one person who I sussed very quickly was false......

Cariad, I dont' know where you are, but if you fancy coming along to the Peterborough meet, you'll be more than welcome.

We'll know who's who because apparently I'm in charge of name badges. *glares at Muffy*

There is no way that nobody would talk to you, that's for sure. There is usually so much conversation going on you wont' be able to keep up with it all.

Don't forget, we all had a first meet too, it's just taking that first step, you won't regret it once you do.

I'm up for a Cardiff meet if it isn't a Saturday (I work Saturdays)

There is a good train service from here.

I'm regularly in Whitchurch, Ann..... I take my mum shopping, and often in Asda or Tesco... but as I don't mind where I meet... name the spot!!

Any South Walians fancy a coffee, all informal... I'll pin a daffodil to me jacket, lol... anytime soon.... as I don't work and have very little planned ahead, I am flexible.

MrDaff Report 31 Dec 2007 11:10

Anyone fancy a Cardiff/S Wales meet in either April May or June????

Cariad... I took a Daffodil with me to my first meet, but Puss took me in hand and introduced me.... why don't a couple of us who live in the Cardiff area just meet up informally for a coffee in the New Year... if you pick a busy place, like a Asda, Tesco or Sainsbury's coffee shop, you'd be safe!!!!

Cariad.
When I have had meets I always do name badges with the persons board name and real name on them, and most meets are quite informal all meeting at one venue and just mingling together, I have held 3/4 now and they have all been really good friendly affairs ;;;

Guinevere Report 31 Dec 2007 10:34

I think they vary, Cariad.

Some big ones are very organised and tables booked, menus pre-ordered etc. Others are more informal with a venue announced and people turning up if they can.

Ladies wot lunch meets are usually pretty informal and all are welcome. The next one will probably be on a weekday in half term.

I have been to two meets, one in London and one in Chelmsford. They are very informal and I had a great couple of hours putting faces to board names.

You will enjoy it I am sure.
