I would swing for her and as for David - well why Gail did not have him in therapy some years ago I do not know! As a mother she is disasterous - she never stands her ground - she waves in the breeze - this way then that.

As for Jim McDonald - Ann - I lived in NI for some years and although the friends I have do not use those expressions - they are familiar to me - you will hear them on the street, on the bus, on the train, one which used to drive me mad was 'yer man' - Jim has used it.

You lot make me laugh,its all only make believe you know,not real life.Lol Dont get so worked up. Now I know why I dont watch any of them.PMSL

Thanks Vods, then I will let my imagination run riot......

In my imagination he tries to bump off Gail and his Gran and frame Jason and Eileen for the deed....he feeds them Ecstasy one day and sleeping pills the next so that they either over-act......or send everyone to sleep......Audrey tries to revive Gail by giving her a quick shampoo and set, but forgets that Bill has not mended the short-circuit in the hair-dryer.....this causes it to short out and for Gail to over-act like a puppet, this coincides with a day that David has given her a double-dose of Ecstasy......Audrey tries to save Gail, but gets shocked as well......but you don't notice much from her because she has taken the sleeping pills.....but there is not much change in the acting.......both expire at the moment that Jason and his Mum enter the salon.......Jason, once again to apologise with those sad puppy dog eyes to Gail for abandoning the horrific daughter and the adult-looking child at the train station.......and Eileen has brought Audrey one of Betty's hot-pots (unknowingly containing botulism because of the meat wrongly stored, due to another short-circuit in the Rovers Return fridge)......another story line for the horrific Vernon/and/or Jim....vote by telephone, all proceeds to ITV producers.....Eileen and Jason are carted off to the Police Station with Jim saying.....they did it.....so they did.......they are evil.....so they are......

......roll titles....

how could anyone compare Gail Platt to a gerbil? Gerbils are sweet cuddly little creatures and on behalf of gerbils I must protest in the stongest possible terms!¬!

The storyline from the beginning with Sally was that she was always trying to better herself......she thought she had a winning ticket marrying Kevin, but then decided the grass was greener......she has always lived her life through her daughters, knowing that she could not better herself......that is why Rosie had the best of everything, and Sophie was quite unspoiled........product of a Mum who thought the sun shone out of her backside.....and has also given her cause to disrespect her mother.....

She is a good little actress, she said in a newspaper article how much she enjoyed doing the scenes and having such a ruthless storyline...

...as for David Platt......you can't be really rude on
