havnt had any to do .was well ahead this year,,,but am now missing that finale last minute buzz,<

,so thinking of someway why I must go tomorrow!!!!just to ponder round like ,,,)))

We went to Sainsbury's in Northwich this morning. We arrived about 9.20am and the car park was empty. The supermarket was quiet too! However an hour later when we left it was mad in the supermarket and in the car park. Car park full and the usual people driving around trying to find a space. We were so lucky, and considering me and OH full of a cold. Eldest had a tummy ache ? bug. So we did brilliantly. But then we had to for go our Sunday lie in. It was worth it for a less stressful shop. But glad it's only once a year. Couldn't get up early every Sunday. We were home by 11am.

All I need now is some Magners cider. They had sold out! Used to drink Woodpecker, then Strongbow but now got a taste for Magners.

And now that the shopping is almost over I've just gotta clean downstairs. Forever busy!

Just need to go to the local little shop for fresh cream and a bit more milk xx

Was going out this afternoon to do lots of errands, card and gift deliveries etc and then to the city to Iceland but it was so foggy have changed my plans and will go tomorrow. O.h. got some stuff at our local Somerfield today, just five mins walk away so only need some veg and dessert.
As you say only two days, and just me, o.h. and my son coming round C. Day and maybe B.Day.

TW - thought you were going away, or were you shopping for Boxing Day?

Hello Dorothy...................when I worked at a post office we used to get a regular customer collecting his pension in his dressing gown and slippers..............that was in the middle of the day though, bless him :))

I did all mine online and it was delivered this morning by Ocado (Waitrose).

Everything there except the seafood entree I'd ordered for starters. So I moaned. Delivery driver said "Are you moaning"?. I said "Yes" I am flippin moaning". He said "Good. They said if the customer moans give us a ring and we will try and deliver later today or tomorrow as we are out of stock right now".

So he rang them, and later this afternoon a driver turned up with my entrees!

(only trouble is one has eat by for 24 December - do you thing we'll be poisoned)?

Other than that everything was fine.

Good luck Catherine, done mine Thursday night at Asda, called back Friday for few bits and gave up queues enormous, went to local store instead, but now my toaster gone pop - so need one asap as I love my toast, and hate using the grill - at work tomorrow but might get a chance to pop out for one - somewhere.
