enough ...Christmas is one day of the year.

I have had it with people telling me how to cook the turkey, singing at me and the rest.

Don't get me wrong I am not anti Christian but enough.

I do not need it 24 hours a day. We do not get other festivals of other faiths put to us like this

Sorry Sammy ..I LOVE XMAS for all sorts of reasons ,but not about the giving and getting of gifts , more about the feeling of friendship and love .Brings out the best in people , think thats the whole point of it ..
Merry Xmas to you and yours !

Sammy Report 20 Dec 2007 16:25

Egg Nog - I see that you are taking it down to the Xmas not Christ-mas so therefore where is the religion in this?

Think you mean the commercialism Sammy ?
I understand that , but unfortunately it is and has been a part of life for a very long time ,big opportunity to make money ...
Xmas to a lot of people is not a great time of year , but hopefully the true message of Xmas does get through to most.
What are you doing this Xmas ?

Ok so if you take Christ out of Christmas what do you have? Mas?

So why celebrate "mas"

I think whatever country you happen to be in you will find the main religion is very much celebrated through festivals. Have lived all over the world and celebrated Ede, Chinese New Year and Ramadan. I love it all and will celebrate Christmas as do my Muslim friends
