Mac - What year are you drinking with your Chateau-Neuf du Pape???

Its our Fav for special occasions and prices vary wildely. I use a wine Merchant rather than an offy and can negotiate the price on mine depending on what year and how much im ordering - I never pay more than £30.00 a bottle and as little as £13.00 depending on the year - as I said below - Asda have a 2006 for £9.00 at the moment on offer. I have bought one to taste - it may be worth buying now and laying down for a year or two at that price.

A friend has tried it and she went back to delli. and bought another so,must be okay! :O)

Im awful on Champagne - I tend to go hyper then want to go to sleep and have one hell of a hangover the next day so try to avoid it.

But we are having a party on New Years and I think these will look so pretty!!! I am kicking myself as I was in Lakelands about two weeks ago and never noticed them.

Ill just have the one glass at midnight though then stick to my wine - but am sure everyone else will them pretty too.

Thanks again for sharing your idea.
