I always used to wonder WHY i seemed to get loads of hair dropping out when i shampoo'd in Sept .used to worry cos it seemed excessive ,thank goodness I had thick hair anyway.

My MUM .bless her, used to say it was like the autumn fall of leaves so dont worry about it. She was right in a way altho dont know if her theory was right, but i still have a good head of hair, and yes it still falls more in Sept/Oct washes.

Jax, gonna kill ya...lol

If only those so called celebrities didn't get waxed to within an inch of their lives I wouldn't feel like a mammoth! (that made me laugh)

Mad Moo has promised to wax my legs when she gets back from the States and I am out of hospital, I kept the text as proof!

All I know Leanne is that my kids grew through the summer holidays.....they always needed new trousers and skirts and shoes for the Autumn term.....my grandchildren are the same......

Jax in Wales Report 15 Dec 2007 16:41

Sue Report 15 Dec 2007 16:39

Well I wish I could say that I notice a 'slow down' but I don't!

I have enough fat to keep me warm, don't need my natural fur coat too!

BTW did you see the TV programme where ladies had decided to let all their body hair grow? Brave ladies but not for me.

CrunchyNuTTer Report 15 Dec 2007 16:37

that's very helpfull Kitty. I wish it happened in the summer though when we "uncover" it's not fair for us hairy people! pmsl

Must be something to do with natural light.............we cover up much more in the winter months.

Or maybe the clothes rubbing our skin does something weird.

*helpful aren't I?* lol

CrunchyNuTTer Report 15 Dec 2007 16:30

why is it that my body hair grows fast in the summer and slows down in the winter? you would think it be the other way around, like animals?
