Not sure that I want a kitten...lol..

We are starting to think about putting poison down for them now though. Don't want to really, but they seem to be laughing at us!!

Another update..we caught another on last night, but they had taken the bait from the other trap. Hope we don't have these visitors for Christmas!

Tina...........11 of them omg !!!!

We had thought of trying the humane traps, but neither of us fancied taking them to pastures new!

Hi Maggy,

I have just had visitations from Mickey and family, but alas they are a family no more.

I got two humane traps and caught everyone (11 in all) of the little devils. They are now spread all over Essex where they were released - many apologies to Essex residents who now have visitors.

I couldn't bear the thought of killing them. lol

Still got the cheeky little things. They pinched the bait without setting the traps off last night. Hope they don't bring all their family tonight for a party!!

Good to hear from you Jules, how are you?

Thanks for the offer, hope we don't need him now...lol..
Have filled the gap in where we think they were getting in, so we'll see what tonight brings.

An update, caught 2 mice, this morning, one in each trap. Why do I feel so guilty now! Hubby thinks he's found out where they are getting in, so will sort that later today.

And, yes they were only tiny ones.........lol.........

Well, going to bed now. Will try to sleep with one eye open...lol.

Glad that you caught your rather large mouse Maggie. Hope I only have tiny ones!

My girls had pet rats - after the hamsters, guinea pigs etc. Eldest had an ex underground rat - a friend of hers found it as a baby on the Waterloo line. She was lovely. Youngest got 2 males from a pet shop - they grew huuuge as did their manhoods!! In fact one was called Testicle, the other B*ll*ck!!
I wasn't too keen on them as they constantly pee.
Still don't like wild ones - they're too clever!

The mouse - it was a large mouse rather than a small rat - is now well & truly dead - and in the bin!!

Well Maggie - I have to ask - what exactly d'you imagine this little mouse is going to do to you if you should meet? Savage you, drag you across the room! They're only little and I think they are rather sweet

We had a cheeky little mouse in our house. He ate the black currant that Mum had topped and tailed and put on the scales to weigh for jam.

Eventually, my father decided he had enough of ‘Little Johnny’ as we called him. He set a few traps and caught 15 ‘Little Johnnies’. After two or three, we didn't feel so sorry for ‘Little Johnny’!!!!!
