	Just wanted to share this. I have a ‘big’ birthday looming and as a surprise Maz (in the East End): Lynda Pace and David Owen arranged for Afternoon Tea at The Ritz. I had no idea this had been planned, thought Maz and I were just out for a bit of retail therapy and a stroll round Fortnum and Masons. To say I was overcome is to understate it. I had never been in the Ritz and had often wondered what it would be like. It is absolutely fabulous and everything I thought it would be and more. The pianonist played Happy Birthday and I was presented with a birthday cake. As we left The Ritz (just have to keep saying it lol) there was the most magnificent rainbow in the sky. All in all a day to remember for ever thanks to the thoughtfulness and kindness of my very special friends. Jean x.
