Must admit, Maggie - it's getting to be a hobby of mine (that and looking for really insane, can't-believe-the-parents-were-sane names of people).

Some I liked were . . .

Bedlam, near Accrington (I ended up there one night having got lost with an almost empty tank of petrol)
Beer, Somerset
Triangle, near Halifax
Bridge of Tilt, Perth and Kinrosshire
Brill (there are 2 - one in Cornwall, one in Bucks)
Bishop's Itchington, Warwickshire
Castle Rising, Norfolk

There's also a couple of villages next to each other named Cropwell Bishop and Cropwell Butler (which sounds like cruelty to me!).
