hi all
a boy in nathans class whom hes been with since nursery . has just been diagnosed(sp) with some kind of genetic disease ,i have always known he walked funny , but im upset , iv'e been told they hardly live over 20 years .he leaves on friday to go to a special school so he can have treatment there .
which i thought he wasnt going till summer .........
glad someone told me as they all have bought him a voucher and card .....so to the town i go tomorrow . the infant dept. had a raffle for him they raised £400 pounds for a wheel chair.
so awful his mother has 3 other kids all have to be tested as all younger then him .
sometimes you relize how lucky we are

Sorry to hear about Nathans little friend, very kind of you all in helping his parents out, all makes his life a little easier.

Yes a better day thankyou Rog, wnet to the GP, i have an infection in my eye, he has given me drops which make my sight bleary in the R one, he said once they have settled that, he will look into why the upper lid has drooped - may well be the infection !!

Not heard anything from the uncle i found - if its him !! gosh i'm impatient arnt i..........Lol

iv'e been sewing rhynestones on grandaughters tap costume for the weekend , just got 34 more to do .
also putting pockets in my bras as they are so expensive to buy , first time and they seem ok.

Good afternoon one and all

Been there sewing pockets in bras personally glad I don't have to worry about doing that any more. got discharged from hospital where I had reconstruction and it made me sad :( the consultant/surgeon and his whole team are sooooo lovely and they made the whole experience a positive one.

Lovely mild day but glad it's Friday tomorrow and we are off for the weekend after that.

Didn't get on last night because my computer is giving me the biggest headache, behaving when it suits it to. Preparing for the fact that I may have to reboot it, got a lot of saving to do first before that happens though!
