I put a fibre optic tree on there in 2005, it went within 30 seconds!!! Never had anything from there, I'd feel guilty.

Google Yahoo then go from there - how you doin??

Pusser & everyone - its brilliant. l really want to take a look at the kitchen, it may well be awful but mines not that good, its about 25 or more yrs old - surely a 3 yr old one is better, but then it maybe a really cheap one thats knackered.
l haver the site on me favourites now;o)))

I use freecycle and got rid of lots of left over building materials after we extended out house last year. People were great and picked up stuff really quick - saved us hiring a van and taking things to the skip.

I also got lots of rocks (which are quite expensive new and take ages to look old) for my Rockery from people that were rescaping their gardens.

I love it :o)

Got rid of loads of stuff on there when my daughter moved house.

A friend's daughter got an almost new washing machine from there. It was much better than the new one she was going to buy.

It's amazing what other folks chuck away! I think it's a brilliant idea, especially now that most charity shops are so fussy about what they take - and not just electrical items either!

I've been on Freecycle for about 4 years - in Canada, orig from Cardiff . . . love Freecycle, Don't have to leave my house, feel like I'm helping someone and when i needed an item for my grandchild, (a $400. bike trailer for him to ride in) I received one from someone almost immediately. I have given away hundreds of items, gradually decluttering, trying to think along the lines that if I haven't needed it in 2 years, it's time to go. You would be absolutely amazed at what is listed. As the children outgrow clothes I no longer take them to the thrift shop, they go to someone through Freecycle, a bag at a time. Best, or most unique thing I've received was 3 Welsh hats to complete Welsh costumes for my 3 granddaughters. I've even made some new friends . . . Mary

Hi Colleen. I am originally from Cardiff too, just moved back to S Wales (Newport) after a long time away, lol

Put my bed up on Freecycle and it was almost snatched out of my hand, lol... they are collecting on Saturday. This is just great.. I'm getting ready for a massive sort out, lol

Have you found another kitchen yet, Jude?

Love
