sounds like fab time had by all,
glad you all enjoyed it,
and the seagulls i heard about kept away,
ask liz about them (did she do the lottery by anychance, lmao)

Well finally made it home got in just after 11pm. Train delayed half an hour outside Cardiff (where else on Rugby day) so missed our connection at Crewe so we were really tired as we left home 6.30 am!

At Cardiff loads of supporters got on and as we were at a table seat some joined us and we thought oh dear!..... However we had a lot of fun and laughs with them as apart from being very noisy they sang and serenaded us (out of tune) and had wierd and wonderful conversations, one lad fell asleep and couldn't be woken so had to be carried off the train!

When we arrived at Crewe two of them were travelling on to Chester with us thank goodness as we had to run to catch the connection or wait another half an hour so they ran ahead and stood in the train doors to hold it for us old timers!

Anyway I digress....the meet was great even if Jude didn't recognise me we think because I have lost weight and have shorter hair! Strangely she did recognise my husband!

Trixie did recognise me and it was so good to spend time with her and Rob again and an added bonus was their son turning up at the station to say hello (we met him two years ago).

Lovely to meet Liz and everyone else and special thanks to Daff for picking us up from the station and helping us surprise everyone.

If you managed to read to the end of this you deserve a medal!

Jude, the moppets' mum was there!! I didn't know what to say.. so I just sort of hammed it up with him... he was giggling in the end, and his mum thought it was hilarious!! Well, it was either die of embarrassment or go with the comedy flow, lol!! It was his face that really did it.. the event itself was a little embarrassing, but he just looked like something from candid camera, and that was what made it sooo funny. Bless him, I could have hugged him, but he'd have been even more horrified at that. :0))
