Whirley

When the dreaded time came for my soul mate 'Bramble' I had the vet come to the house.

The day before, the vet gave me a tablet to give him one hour before he was due. It just made him sleepy. He was happy and contented.
He went to sleep with no worries. I couldnt believe he had gone! he just looked asleep and I swear he had a smile. The pain had gone...

I will NEVER take a pet to the vets for this dreaded deed. I dont care how much it costs!

It was Much nicer for Bramble to go to sleep at home with all those that loved him.

Bramble was 16 years old. A Black and white Springer Spaniel who was born on my bed. He died on my lap. Never forgotton x

You never forget them but you do learn to live without them. Thats life!

Awww Caz.................I understand that, I have had lots of dogs in my family from a child but one was something special.

I don't know exactly why, but we kind of connected somehow, as much as I have loved every one of the others, I have never felt such a bond as I did with him.

we had to put our baby down sunday night,
he was 10 (boxer dog) he had bleeding in the brain, went down hill really fast (4 days) so at least it was quick our other dog know she was wineing, i was crying, and he just come over to me gave me a lovely little kiss and looked at me as if to say dont cry, i'm ready, it was really sad, but it's strange you do know, this was the first time i had to do it and i was dreading it, but some how looking at his face i just know.
my thoughts are with you
