as its not long till the big day and a lot of us rely on bogofs and bargains to get all those little bits why not add ones when you see them so others who dont know about them can take advantage.

Things like offer on tins of sweets/biscuits or shops doing special offers on toys.

I know it sounds early but when money is tight every bit saved is good and we all go into different shops so see different bargains.

As for Halloween, pumpkins are growing up the allotment for that and if I am lucky will arrange to be away on halloween so dont get all them children knocking

Boots always have 3 for 2 on gifts, I usually score well there apart form the fact all my family know about it so I feel I should spend more!

Just thought! 'Rapid online' is primarily known as an electronics company BUT
my son had their 'schools catalogue' which you can see on the web site...and they do great ART supplies ,no minimum order ,easels, paper, beads, glitter you name it!!
Really good for those of you who make cards too!

Also...lots of places clear out 'gardening' stuff after summer....I bought packets of seeds at less than half price....herbs etc,
If you buy someone who is interested in gardening a big terracotta pot or similar and fill it with garden gloves, twine, plant labels, seeds etc it makes a very acceptable pressie( well I'd like it lol!) and you can buy the 'bits' when you see them going cheap
