Now stop encouraging me lol!

I think back to when I was a kid and my mum moved us 'lock stock and barrel' to the Isle of Man, with no visible means of support lol. But think that is also part of my hesitation, this is my really first 'security' in the sense of owning my walls and roof!
My son's eleven so I think he'd love the adventure...but what about my two cats.....
maybe in a few years? !

Rose, Kitty is right. If you have the opportunity to do that, then do it. You won't regret doing it, but you might regret not doing it.

Aww thanks BC.

I went there once, but by ferry from Holyhead. Loved the place, but my mum has never been there.

Now she has travelled on her own, to Austria and Italy. Yet she finds it hard to think about travelling alone within the UK. Doesn't say much does it.

Rose.............do you want to sit in a chair when you are old and think "if only"

or sit and remember what you did!

Go for it!

In fact, TW, I shall take you there some day. Flying is a doddle:-) Rose if you have no real responsibilities here and you really want to travel, just go for it. I have always trusted that things will work out and they do! The Universe is very nice when you have faith in it...er...but if anything goes wrong, I have a basement you could kip in:-) lol

Now bungee jumping is another thing..*shudders.

Teresa, going to Dublin would be good as it's not too long a flight to cope with for a first one.

Ooh Diana, give it a go! I am not a 'pub goer' generally but I have done that, and was amazed that my more 'wordly' friend said she couldn't do it!

Take my first flight in an aeroplane. I've never flown, first hubby wouldn't, and my OH hates flying.

*sigh* Maybe I will take my mum to Dublin as a treat when I get enough money, can fly then.

Have been thinking about moving, but if I sold the house and didn't buy another I could afford to travel around and do things I will never otherwise do , rather wish I was brave enough to take a chance on it! and hope that by the time the money runs out something will have 'turned up' lol
