Morning Kitty

I think the new layout has put some people off plus now with the 2 boards the community its split.

I have been going to both boards but as you say neither are moving and like you i gave up as you feel no one is about, maybe there are many of us that feel the same way and sitting here in silence.

Catherine Keith seems to be sticking to the chat board now hun.

Ann...............I had never used the chat board, but can see what you mean in your thread.............two almost identical boards that scatter us about.

I am looking after a poorly husband, so need these boards to get a bit of light relief from time to time through the day and evening.

Just have to get used to it I suppose, see you later I hope and you June.

Morning all. I can understand people being confused, the divide into Chat and General and then making them almost identical...seems foolish. What's the idea then, if someone has a strop they take themselves off to Chat or vice versa. This is a Community, let's not divide it. Ahh that's better, hope you all have wonderful day:-)) BC XX

Off to get prescription for my husband soon....he is having a bad reaction from the latest lot of pills.........he is so fed up and grumpy today, so I have told him to stay in bed for the morning and try to sleep the worst of it off!

kitty it is time the drs had that sorted out, it's been going on a while now

We saw a specialist last friday......he has to have an op in a few weeks to remove a tumour which is affecting his bladder and bowel.............scary stuff, but they are very positive that all will be well after the op...he is only 55 and a generally fit man.

It's the waiting for further x rays and tests per op that is the hardest part at the moment.

We just want it all over and done with so he will feel well again.........this has been a very long 3 weeks!! :((

I gave up last night too... It's very lonely when you don't actually have any specific mates on the boards, I feel an intruder on threads now.

I think with me it's a case of "old habits die hard". I barely used the chat board before because whenever I looked on there, there was usually trouble. To be honest I can't see the point of the chat board now, it's not much different to this one. What do other people think?

I agree with you, its not moving very fast like it normally does, maybe everyone is thinking the same thing as me and the whole new experience of GR is doing their heads completely in and not sure what they are doing lmao

Thanks Mo and BC..........we are pretty sure it will be ok and the consultant hopes to operate within the next 6 weeks.

The finances are our biggest worry, no work, no income, but I am going to the bank on tuesday and see if they can help..........we are lucky to have a low mortgage, so I'm sure they will help us.

Good morning Kitty, I agree that the boards have really slowed down.
where is everyone?
They all seemed to LOVE this new format... but they are not here!!

As you know I am having pooter problems, and to top it all.....
My new broadband is having troubles with my old broadband which does not 'leave' until the end of the month!!
THAT'S me!!
I am the mother of *murphy's law*.... just as well for me that I'm quite *easy oesy* or I would be in a bad state! :-0)

yep I,ve given up to .....we cant find each other coz theres to many places to hide .....The Hoff is here coz Chat is nearly full of his postings!!! LOL

I've never really used chat. The few times I ventured there there was some kind of row going on.

I think I'll stick to general.
