I'm sure it will be ok Ann. It's understandable that you are worried and unfortunately nothing anyone can say will stop that. But, doctors have to be sure these days, as you can understand. Better safe than sorry. Take care Tina x

Why don't these people listen? I am really down and fed up today. The Dr said, urgent appointment, OK his view of urgent and the hospital is probably different. I stressed to him that I was away for four weeks from 2 September. OK he said, you will definitely get seen before then. so this morning I receive the appointment for Saturday 15 September at 4.15 pm. anybody spot the deliberate mistake? And it is Saturday and, although the appointment is for a Saturday the central booking office is not available at weekends. (This was not helped by the post office who took 2 days to deliver a first class letter on a journey I can do in half an hour by bus!) As we are also away for four weeks from 7th October and only home 29th Sept until then. I am so fed up with it all. OH says that before I saw the Dr I wasn't worried about it and I wasn't, but the fact that he was worried has now made me worried and I want to get it over with. OH did buy me a bunch of lovely white carnations to try and cheer me up, nice but not really working. Sorry to moan, I know there are people so much worse off and with so much more hanging over them. i suppose the weather isn't helping to lift me out of the gloom either. Ann glos

Doctors seem to add to your problems these days!! it sounds like allergys to me ...my whole family have these problems ...Not the blood pressure...as thats a different issue Try to reduce wheat from your diet ...if you have back ache you MAY find reduceing wheat will help that to!!! DONT remove wheat

It was an allergy in the first place (30 years ago!) it was an allergy to biological washing powder. It started small and spread out over a couple of years. Doctors were seen and just gave me cream. About 10 years ago it was itchy and scaly and I showed yet another doctor and he gave me more cream, about 4 years ago it got a soft lump' with sort of fluid in on one side, also developed a small 5mm diam cyst type hard lump showed my doctor, he was not worried. But my new doctor is worried. could be because he is a lot younger than the last doctor and more aware I don't know. ann Glos

Ann ,Doctors never agree with each other and that dont help .... The body is a clever thing ..I have 4 kids who all have alleregys one is allergic to tap water!!! gives him headaches/migraines. one has urticaria to the sun and jelly, nuts, pizza, fizzy drinks....means she vomits and swells up face head ears hands neck and then goes spotty!! My other son and I are wheat ....skin prolems on hands feet face and asthma, I got a dry patch like that on my little fingers at the mo I think allergys come and go .....we REDUCED wheat that helps. I dont think you are in any danger but they know WHAT could happen and dont want you to sue them !!!!!! Take care and dont worry!!!!

Hi Ann I think the new young doctors are so scared of litigation if they miss something that they tend to over react sometimes, That doesn't make things any easier for you though, hope you get things resolved about the appointment Dee xx
