My wife's name is Cherida, which I think is lovely. However, nobody, including her Mother, knows where the name comes from. Any ideas please? |

What a lovely name! I've never heard it before but it's really pretty. I have heard that Querida is Spanish for 'darling' (well I read it in a Joanna Trollope novel, so I'm assuming she was right!). Mandy :) |

Thanks all of you. Sounds as though the name's meaning is as nice as she is. |
