On this day, apparently, the Womens Institute, was formed, In Anglesey, Wales!. Can anyone resist those lovely homemade cakes and jams etc.?!,.. Lets hear it, for the good old W.I.!.. |

There is no age limit to WI membership. Anyone can go along and join in the fun!! Jacobs Join, Outings to interesting places, interesting speakers, etc, etc. Margaret |

I used to be a member, and did the secretaries job for a few years. Was also a member of a W.I.Market where I used to make cakes,jams,pickles and sold excess garden produce, was Treasurer of that for 10 years or so. You don't even have to be a woman to join a W.I.Market either. Men take note. |
