It's up north Carol in a place called Banks in North Moels which is an area around Southport, before they named the town Southport it was Birkdale and North Moels. Their name was Leadbetter with links by marriage to Peet, Halsall and Wright. G x |

Well we spent all yesterday afternoon trawling around a small village graveyard........ It's only a tiny village where my husbands ancestors hail from and we took photo's .........yes photo's - of all the relevent headstones about 15 or so in all probably about 10% of the graves there......... Guess what! We couldn't get a match! Oh well ..... back to the drawing board. Muddy, wet G xxx |
