I'm starting university this Weds. 3 years to train as a midwife. I'm really looking forward to it. I think hubby is looking forward to not working as hard as well! Will keep you posted as to how I'm getting on. Julie |

Julie, Good luck. My niece trained as a midwife and emigrated to Australia where there was a dire need of them. She has settled there now and has two children of her own and insists that her 'job' is the most satisfying in the world. Jean x. |

Good Luck Julie, My cousin (Julie!), has been a midwife, for about 18yrs and she loves it!, she goes out delivering, and last month delivered her first grandchild, a little girl, just lucky she was there at the time. It is a very rewarding career, good luck. |

Hope you have better luck than my ex. She took Midwifery as a Mature Student, but by the time she had qualified they wouldn't use her. Said she was too old!!!! Jim |
