Morning Christine, We seem to get fireworks all year round here - I thought the law had been changed to restrict sale - but it doesn't seem to be working! We have a cycle path along the back of the garden that used to be a railway line. There's a short tunnel about 100m away that kids seem to think is an ideal place to let off thunderclaps and rockets. One of these days the vibration from these explosions (and believe me they make the house shake) will make the tunnel collapse with them in it but they don't seem to realise the danger. I suppose it will be someone else's fault when it does - I expect they (or surviving relatives) will sue the firework manufacturers for not putting a warning on them about setting them off in tunnels!
