Had an e-mail back from Alex at support and have been assured that nobody can view anybodys tree without their permission - but it is strange that the GR Member has not even asked again nor have I heard from them today - hopefully they got the message !!!!!!!!! |

Don't allow them access and you have done the right thing contacting Genes support about this. And I agree with Joy it is definately abuse. If I were you I wouldn't delete any more messages / emails from them as they are your evidence. If it continues - I would contact the police if necassary. Take care Tracy G xxx |

I have recieved umpteen messages from a supposed GR member: The first one was about my Life after death thread and the second one and the rest afterwards were to allow this member access to my tree. I have refused many times and asked this member to identify themselves and prove a link into my family - but now I have just recieved a message that the text on there screen from me is distorted. I have e-mailed support with my concern and I have looked this member up and nothing is linking. Any more suggestions - oh and I have deleted all this members e-mails to me and asked them not to contact me again unless they can prove they belong in my family. The flaming cheek !!! |
