Wish I looked at these pages more often! I go away and leave the computer for a few hours and .... well, anyway, I reckon I'm thicko cos I didn't know what a wireless mouse was! Our previous mouse / mice weren't happy (went skidding all over the screen) so my brother-in-law who is clever with computers (but supports Argyle and has his own website greens on screen) said get an optical one, and here it is very happy - red and glowing underneath and grey on top, and all the other things that Jim said! phew My sympathies about your poor mouse. I bought a nice new mouse which glows red at the bottom (optical) but the cursor kept leeping off the page ...whoosh it was gone....then some kind person told me that with this kind of mouse you shouldn't use a mouse mat....problem solved Lynn |

Jim Do you think it could be down to the weather all these mice dying? By the way you got a bargain. Mine was £20. Also treated myself to gel Mouse mat with wrist rest. Heaven!! Shirley |

Shirley, Me too. I don't ever need to attack its insides with a pair of tweezers, Don't need a Mouse Mat. AND it's got a Scroll Page Roller And a Forward AND a Back Button. And it cost only a Tenner. So Karen, send your old thing to Mouse Heaven, Shed a tear for old time's sake, and Hooray for the Future. Lol Jim |

Oh dear, I feel a bit of a pillock! I was getting ready to send you a message of sympathy, then I read the rest of the message. Oops. Glenys. P.S. Sorry, but I can't help, and to quote Manuel "I know nothing". |

A few months after getting my first pc I was advised to clean the rollers on my mouse so I went to the chemist and requested a small bottle of ethyl alcohol for my mouse. The look of horror on the faces of the staff! It slowly clicked that they thought I was referring to the furry kind. Luv Beth ps I got the alcohol after explaining |

Karen, I was just going to add my sympathy when I saw this thread LOL! Asked hubby and he said that your mouse needs re-installing/re-setting. Cordless ones do sometimes need this. Good luck! Mandy :) |

Christine, please don't take me down the blind route. To be honest, I know very little about the hardware so cannot help. I am sure someone will know. |

Can any one help please? Every now and then (and just now) my mouse cursor just slides off the screen into oblivion then i have to use the tab to close all stuff down. Has anyone else had this problem. The mouse is clean and the batteries are ok, its a wireless mouse. |
