Maybe he already suffered from something life threatening. The car occupants seem to have reacted quickly almost as if they were used to it. Ann glos |

Elaine, How horrible for you and the poor young man too. Maybe it will be in the local paper today, or maybe you will hear what happened on the grape vine. Kyle may need to talk about it, he may be frightened to say anything if you are not talking about it in front of him, or conversely because they see so much on TV these days he may just have accepted it. I hope you will soon be able to put it out of your mind but i know it will be hard to forget it. when i was in my early 20s I saw an elderly lady collapse and die in the library. I can still remember the shock I felt and how for ages i was actually quite worried to be in the company of elderly people in case they too collapsed. In retrospect she was about the age i am now! If the report says that he died maybe you could send a sympathy card to the relatives and say that you felt so sorry for them when you witnessed it. Ann Glos |

oh elaine it's horrible isn't it.i have never had that experience but i have seen two people run over .one was a child.the child was hit by a hit and run driver after he crossed the road and the car was doing about seventy miles an hour in a 20mph zone.i looked in my side mirror and saw the boy being flung in the air like a rag doll and hit the ground.i thought he was dead.miraclously he got up and just walked to the side.the other accident was a man going through a red light on a cycle.there were two lanes and the man in the inside lane undertook us and as the man cycle through the driver that undertook us couldn't see him coming and hit him.it was horrible.it really played on my mind for a while as the shock makes you remember all the bad things about it.what you have to remember is that they got to him and were doing the best that they could for him.xxxxxx(: |

Hi Elaine My son works in a police control room and although they don't like getting unneccessary phone calls, I'm sure if you phoned them and explained the situation, that you witnessed the incident and just want to be able to reassure your children, who were upset they may be able to let you know what happened. Alternatively there may be a report in the local paper in the next day or two. Hope you are all feeling a bit better. Kath |

I know it isn't nice for his family but not a nice experience for you and your young ones, its something that you dont forget in a hurry, just keep your eye on them and consult your doctor if you think there are any signs of trauma. June xx |

about 1pm we were driving up to a rounderbout in Harlow when the car in front stopped suddenly. People jumped out calling on their mobile phones . Other people came running to help. A young looking man was then dragged out of the passenger side of the car. The next minute a police car had been flagged down and to cops ran to assist. We watched in horror as this poor bloke was given CPR. luckily we were able to reverse and drive away. The paramedic car arived soon after and we left with the vision of this man lying in the road having his chest pumped. Connie being 5 diddnt really understand what was happening but it really scared Kyle whos 9. We both had a good cry on the way home. I just want to pass my thoughts on to the poor guy and his family and friends (there were kids in the car too) what they are going through is terrible.........Elaine x ...... |
