Does laminating affect newsprint?

I'd also be very interested to know if laminating would also affect photographs in the long run. I find it great to laminate the little family photos that I carry around in my purse, but would hate to ruin the old ones my dad's just given me. |

Marion, many thanks for that website, it's really helpful. The answer is NO, DO NOT laminate photos! However, they do suggest making copies and laminating those - so that's what I'm going to do! Thanks again Marion, a really useful site. Mandy :) |

I think it would Daniel, i laminated an old letter(when i didnt know any better) thinking it would save it forever, but the writing on one side shows up badly on the other a realy poor finish!. Theresa |
