anyone been.i go every year and absolutely love it.if you are finding it differcult to get into the christmas spirit go to that.it's at portsmouth dockyard i think from the 26th november to the 29th november.it is victorian themed and all the workers are dressed up in victorian costumes.it's like stepping from the future into the past.they have a victorian market which sells most things ,a victorian tavern and victorian food .also there is a french market and the ticket includes entry on the victory and the warrior and into battlestations which isfor the kids and the adults that think they are kids with simulators and rock climing and more.and for the ones that believe in father christmas .me included there is a santas grotto.you will have a magical day and will get in the christmas spirit after visiting.mark my words it's a wonderful day outxxxxxxxxx(: |

Might just have to give this a go this year. I've seen it advertised before but never managed to get my Hampshire visits to coincide. It looks a great day out. |

i went once and thought it was the biggest load of rubbish, the only good thing was everyone dressed up in victorian costumes, although i do have to say it is better than the southsea show. karen |

lisa, everyone has different opinions but just because its still going doesn't mean its great, you only have to look at the southsea show to see that.the s sea show used to be really good but over the last few years its become little more than a glorified car boot. i didn't mean the dockyard isn't good,my kids loved action stations, victory etc its the market type things that aren't any good, karen |
