I can't beleive you can be byping that and keeping a straight face. I've never met a woman that was any good at DIY, I'm sure some exist, but it's usually done, and done well, by men. myself and my brother in law would challenge you to a DIY duel anyday and I know who'd win :) |

now I know you're just trying to wind me up (and succeeding). I'm afraid you have a very dim view of men in general don't you Lisa. |

Donna - sounds like our relationship at home too - we plan things together and share jobs and responsibilites, but we each have things that we "own" as we each have our strengths |

Donna, Sharon and I painted the lounge last week. We close the colours together, I organised, got all the brushes etc, I got on with the main painting with a roller, she did the bits I'd left round the egdees (after applying masking tape lol)... teamwork. |

we took turns lol It looks really nice by the way, chocolate brown on one wall as a feature, the other three walls are a kind of light coffee colour (officially the paint colours are "chocolate fudge" and "cookie dough"). |

i think men in general are better than women at DIY it's just women do the job a lot quicker by the time my hubby runs out of excuses why now it not a good time to do it, and got to the shed to get the tools, the planned how he's going to do it, then measured up for doing it, then discussed his plans with his mates over a pint, he usually comes home to find the job done! course then we have the whole inspection and you shouldn't have used that there debate. But hey jobes done, thats all i care about Bev |

no, it's not a fact, it's a stereotype. And I think you'll find that Bev said men are BETTER at DIY, whereas women rush into it as they have no patience (thats my interpretation lol). If a jobs worth doing it's worth doing well, which means proper planning |

yes Paul women can multitask course when i tell my hubby this he usually says ' of course woman can do 2 things at once, bitch & moan' but that is only his opinion Bev |
