Dilys - I don't think so many young people start smoking as they did say 10-15 years ago. I know most of my son's friends smoked but if I am with younger people now - smokers tend to be in the minority. Let's hope so anyway.

*excited* Just had an eamil from a possible Palmer cousin in New Zealand. (Mel just pop round and see him will you - he's fairly new to all this. lol) There are 6 of use all researching Palmers in the same villages and most of us are remote cousins. He could be as well. Must pop into GA (Genes Anonymous) and confess. Gwynne

Mommy, You just don't understand. Both my men are scientists and they assure me that it is a scientific fact that men suffer far more when they have these illnesses than women. Gwynne

Gwynne Love your comment about the men suffering the cold virus! Before Christmas I had it and struggled on (like we do!) Now, hubbie has it and is SO sorry for himself, while I (just) try to cope with two ninety-year-old relatives down in Evesham (three hours' drive), who have more serious probs.

At the LDS I found an ancestor of my husband with his family in the 1841 census. It took me an hour to find it but I was pleased with myself. *pops away to phone Dad* Gwynne

Popped over last night Gwynne, the Occ. therapist has been, and is sorting out bath rails etc. Dad is ringing Doctor today, as she complained of a slight tingling in her arm again, so will ring home later, hope that blood-pressure isn't rising again...
