My husband tells everyone that he only invited me round for a meal 5 years ago and I wouldn't leave. You go for it, I'm not going to wish you good luck because neither of you need it, Well done. Jo |

Steph, the sensible person in me says be careful, but I have to tell you when I met my wife at the age 23, she 19. I proposed after two weeks. She accepted after five and we were married after six months, purely the logistics of getting a house together. We are still together after 34 years and if you work at it there is no reason why you shouldn't do the same. Best of luck, Andy. |

Steedie - whatever you decide - go with your gut - my husband is still getting over the shock of finding himself proposing less than 24 hours after our first date. We did know one another as work colleagues. Still very happy many years on. Ann |

I moved in with my now hubby less than 2 months of us meeting again after going out with each other 26 years earlier at school, we got engaged 1 month after moving in together and married 7 months after that..... I wish you both well Steedie..... I hope you are both very happy together Gaynor :-) |

Hi Steedie, I am pleased for you. Rich and I were housemates when we met, and 'officially' moved in together after about 3 weeks. That was in 1987 and we are still very happy together, and celebrate our 16th wedding anniversary this year! I think you know deep down when it is totally the right thing to do. Liz |

Ah love's young dream ..... Don't listen to the killjoys Steedie. Live by the motto better to have done something and regret it than to regret never trying it :)) Hubby proposed after 4 days, I accepted, 3 weeks later engaged and living together (at 18). Married 18 months later and been married 16 years now. Still all luved up :)) Wouldn't change a thing. XX Sioux |
